Flashback Friday: Ruth Langmore’s Roar

I was hanging with my homegirl the other night and she randomly quoted Ruth Langmore’s most famous scene in Ozark. Her character always expressed raw emotion, but this particular moment was captivating. I felt her rage and hunger for revenge as she confronted the Byrdes.

Ruth, Wendy, and Darlene were all the same character to me. They were the same woman in different phases of their lives, bringing their own brand of volatility. Ruth was the most honest with herself, though, which makes sense that she’s the fan favorite.
