Amber North is a stand-up comedian currently based out of Nashville, Tenn., after spending the past 10 years of her experience in Atlanta, Ga.

She is the creator, producer, and host of Grrrls Nite Out, Atlanta’s longest running all female stand-up comedy showcase from 2016-2023.

Her dark wit and subtly biting and deadpan social commentary consistently wins over crowds. Amber has performed all over the region, including stops in Los Angeles, New Orleans, and cities all over the southeast region.

Amber pushes the boundaries with her comedy, often incorporating hilarious anecdotes with clever, honest observations about life.

She also spent two years as co-producer and co-host of Ladie’s Night, a monthly sketch film competition and stand-up comedy showcase where amateur filmmakers compete for a $500 grand prize, as well as local and national comics performing live onstage.

Comedy accolades and festivals: Laugh Riot Grrrl Festival; Opened for Doug Benson in January 2024 at 40 Watt Club (Athens, GA); 2023 Chocolate Sundaes First Impressions Graduate; Atlanta’s West End Comedy Fest 2022; 1865 Comedy Festival 2021; Atlanta’s Resurgens Fest 2018 and 2017; Atlanta Comedy Femme Fest 2019 and 2017; New Orlean's Black Girls Giggle Festival July 2018; Nashville’s #BrokenRecordShow 2018; SweetWater 420 Fest 2016
