Amber North is a stand-up comedian based out of Atlanta, GA. She has performed onstage for four years and one of the city’s top comics. She is creator, producer and host of Grrrls Nite Out, Atlanta's go-to for female-centric stand-up comedy.
She is also the co-creator, co-producer, and co-host of a very comical yet socially aware podcast What's The Word?, with journalist and long-time friend, Stephanie Toone.
Amber then became the co-producer and co-host of Ladie’s Night, one of Atlanta’s most popular monthly sketch film competition and stand-up comedy showcases. Amateur filmmakers get to compete in front of judges who work for companies like Netflix and Adult Swim, as well as local and national comics performing live onstage.
Amber’s dark wit, subtly biting and deadpan social commentary consistently wins over crowds. She was recently named co-host of Ladie’s Night, one of Atlanta’s most popular monthly stand-up comedy showcases.
Amber has performed all over the region, including Chattanooga, Knoxville, Louisville, Savannah, Athens, Columbia, Charleston, and Charlotte.
Amber will be performing at New Orlean's Black Girls Giggle Festival in July. She was previously a performer at 2018's #BrokenRecordShow in Nashville, Resurgens Fest in Atlanta, November 2017, and the Atlanta Comedy Femme Fest in November 2017.
